Kate Becker is a vocalist and writer of melodies and lyrics. She was born in San Francisco to a Swiss mother and New Yorker father and raised between Bern, Switzerland and New York City. Her mother worked for the Jazz Festival Bern, which enabled Kate to meet and listen to many great jazz artists such as Ella, Dizzy, BB King, Miles, Etta James, Dr. John, Carmen McRae, Diane Reeves and many more. Accompanied by Founder of Old Bisbee Records and and co-founder of Tucson's Best Bluegrass 2007-2012 TAMMIE Winners The Dusty Buskers, Georgia born Stuart Oliver is a multi-instrumentalist and professional songwriter. Together they meld styles conjured in the Arizona desert, borrowing elements of 70’s funk and fusion, vocal jazz and desert noir.
