Join Kelsey and Tosha for another deeply moving soundbath and meditation experience on Monday, May 20, 2024, focused on cultivating compassion and loving kindness.
Karuna, also known as compassionate action, emphasizes active empathy and a willingness to witness the pain of others. Sitting in the energy of compassion through a karuna meditation is a powerful way to develop empathy and compassion for ourselves and others. It’s about connecting with suffering and awakening the compassion inherent in all of us.
During this meditation, we will send loving energy to ourselves, to others, to situations and our communities at large to elicit loving kindness and compassion for all beings. This is done by visualizing the suffering of others and then transforming that suffering with the breath into feelings of compassion and relief. Additionally, compassion meditation involves silently repeating certain phrases that express the intention to move from judgment to caring, from isolation to connection, and from indifference or dislike to understanding
We will transition into a sound bath experience using crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes and other percussion instruments where the energies of love and compassionate action is amplified and anything in the way of showing up more compassionate in our everyday lives is diffused.

About the Facilitators:
Tosha Andres is a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner with additional certifications in Yoga, Sound Therapy, and Meditation. She knew early on in life that helping people feel better was her calling. Working in the medical field for over 10 years has provided her the opportunity to better understand the inner workings of the body while also opening her eyes to the need for preventative medicine. After having some experiences with her own health, she discovered holistic health along with it's healing potential. Today, she enjoys serving both patients and clients alike in a multitude of settings.
Kelsey Elledge is a Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Master, sound healing facilitator and certified kundalini yoga instructor. She helps remind others of their own light by sharing practical tools, techniques and resources for self-empowerment. Her services include a mix of energy healing techniques, kundalini kriyas as a prescriptive form of yoga, sound vibrational therapy to help folks find equilibrium in the energy body, restore balance and consciously navigate toward a life of ease.
