Norvégia legnagyobb szenzációja, a Karpe rapduó látványos, a Quickstyle táncosaival kiegészült Omar Sheriff c. showjával érkezik az Akvárium Klubba, 2023. május 24-én. Az Omar Sheriff egy külön univerzum, norvég, arab, quiarati és angol nyelven szólalnak meg dalaik, a produkció összes résztvevője pedig Norvégiába érkező bevándorlók leszármazottjaiból áll, egy igazi multikulturális projekt. Az oslói arénát egy hónap alatt tízszer töltötték meg, ezzel is külön rekordot felállítva, tavasszal pedig Európát is beveszik
A Karpe egy norvég rapduó, amely Chirag Rashmikant Patel és Magdi Omar Ytreeide Abdelmaguid audiovizuális művészekből áll. Ők Norvégia legnagyobb fellépői - mindig magasra teszik a lécet, ha audiovizuális koncepciókról, produkciókról és kiadványokról van szó. A duó slágert slágerre halmozott, hazavihettek egy sereg díjat, látványos élő show-jukkal és ambiciózus ötleteikkel pedig a címlapokra is felkerültek.
2022-ben jelent meg legújabb zenei projektjük, az Omar Sheriff. Egy külön univerzum, amely tele van tisztelgéssel és fejhajtással származásuk felé Chirag ugyanis indiai, míg Magdi egyiptomi származású. Ezek az utalások megtalálhatók a zenéjük hangzásában, a dalszövegekben és a vizuális tartalomban is. Úgy keverik a norvég nyelvet az arab, quiarati és az angol nyelvvel, ahogy azt még senki sem tette előttük.
A kritikusok által is elismert kiadvánnyal koncerttörténelmet is írtak, amikor év elején a Quickstyle-lal – ez egy legendás globális tánccsapat, akik ezzel az esküvői videójukkal váltak híressé – összeálltak az eddigi leglátványosabb showjukhoz. Az Oslo Spektrum Arénában tíz koncertet adtak egy hónap alatt, 111 000 eladott jeggyel minden idők leglátogatottabb előadását hozták össze az arénában.
A zenekar, valamint a stáb tagjai is olyan bevándorlók és menekültek generációjának gyermekei, akik a világ minden tájáról érkeztek Norvégáiába, hogy új otthont teremtsenek maguknak. Most az ő leszármazottjaik alkották meg az Omar Sheriffet, egy olyan multikulturális projektet, amely egyesít és befogad. És egészen biztosan szórakoztat. A produkció ugyanis igazán egyedi energiákat teremt, most pedig Európát is beveszik.

Norway's biggest sensation, the Karpe rap duo, will come to Budapest with their spectacular show Omar Sheriff, featuring dancers from Quickstyle, on 24 May 2023. Omar Sheriff is a universe of its own, with songs mixing Norwegian, Arabic, Quiarati and English, and all the performers are descendants of immigrants to Norway, a truly multicultural project. They have filled the Oslo arena ten times in a month, setting a new record, and will take Europe by storm in the spring
Norwegian rap duo Karpe consists of audiovisual artists Chirag Rashmikant Patel and Magdi Omar Ytreeide Abdelmaguid. They are the biggest act in Norway – always raising the bar when it comes to audiovisual concepts, productions, and releases. They have produced hit after hit, received a bunch of awards and made both headlines and history with their spectacular live shows and ambitious ideas.
In 2022 they released their latest musical project, Omar Sheriff. A universe that is packed full of tributes and nods to their background (Chirag being of Indian -and Magdi being of Egyptian origin). It is present sonically, in references, in lyrics and in all the visual content. They mix Norwegian with Arabic, Gujarati and English in a way no one has done before them.
Following the critically acclaimed release, they once again made concert history when they teamed up with Quickstyle - the legendary global dance crew, that went viral with their famous wedding show earlier this year, for their most spectacular show yet. A record breaking residency in Oslo Spektrum Arena – ten shows in one month, 111 000 tickets sold (an all time record in the arena).
The band and the crew are both children of a generation of immigrants and refugees from all over the world, who fled to Norway to create a home. Now, their next generation have made «Omar Sheriff» together - a multi-cultural project who unites and includes. And most definitely entertains. Together they create an infectious and truly unique energy, and now they are taking on Europe.
