Karen Howard teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of St. Thomas, in music education, choral courses, and diverse musics. She is research director for the Graduate Programs in Music Education, and facilitates the Smithsonian Folkways Certificate Course in World Music Pedagogy.
