Come join us for this elegant evening full of Jazzy and Soulful Christmas Delights!!!
It's A Black Velvet Christmas, Black Tie Affair!!
This will be an elegant evening filled with a fusion of Jazz and Uptown Soul featuring the smooth and sultry vocals of Karen Collins, accompanied by live musicians, serenading music lovers in the legendary performance hall of the Bessie Smith Cultural Center.
This intimate and personalized musical experience will allow music lovers to have an opportunity to be up close and personal with the Soulful Christmas music they love all while socializing in an elegant holiday evening atmosphere.
The Velvet Chair Experience also features Dexter Bell & Friends affectionately known as "Crushed Velvet" and other surprise musical guests and entertainers, as well as a Velvet Lounge for Selfies and photos provided by Unlimited Photography!
This spectacular evening will take place on Sunday, December 15th, 2024 from 6pm-9:30 pm at the Bessie Smith Cultural Center located at 200 MLK Blvd., Chattanooga, TN 37403.
Doors will open at 6pm with soft jazz, special entertainment, dancing, food and cocktails.
The main show will start at 7pm!
Please enter at the front of The Bessie in Entrance C.
All seats will be by table assignment so come early to enjoy the show with your fellow music lovers!!!
Individual tickets are $65 and are available online at Eventbrite and in person at The Bessie Smith Cultural Center and Allgood's Used Books and Coffee.

A fabulous Cash Bar will be available throughout the night, featuring velvety signature cocktails and libations, as well as, many other fan favorites and mocktails paired with a beautiful Food Bar of delectable bites prepared by The Charcuterie Chic.
