Karaoke Competition in Queens

NYC Karaoke League's 2025 Solo Series

We are really excited to launch a series of solo competitions that will culminate in a championship event at the end of the year. In order to win the championship, you much compete in at least 3 events in 2025.

February 8th @ Alewife in Sunnyside

Registration is free to attend but there is a small fee to officially join the 2025 league where we will track your progress over the course of the year. You can sign up at Alewife on 2/8 or email [email protected]. On 2/8, all competitions must arrive before 7:30 and we cap each competition at 20 singers. Open mic will take place after if there is time. We encourage you to bring friends as the audience gets to vote.

How Do You Win?

Competitors are divided into two groups. The top two singers from each group advance to the finals to sing an additional song. You are graded on SOUND and SHOWMANSHIP. Costumes and props are allowed and you can also have friends serve as backup dancers as long as they don't sing or speak.

What Do You Win?

We have not yet determined what the grand prize will be at the end of the year but there will be smaller prizes at each of the nights and as the series grows, official members of the solo league will get first access to future solo events. Our goals as an organization is to build community and to put on fun events.
