Kapa Tākaro - Play & playtest kēmu reo Māori
Kia ora! We're Kura Rēhia - creators of the board game Kaupapa, and we invite you to come playtest some new prototypes of games we haven't released yet.
Beginner to fluent speakers are all welcome, as are folks from all backgrounds. This gathering is hosted by and open to Māori and non-Māori alike. A relaxed gathering to celebrate and uplift te reo Māori through play.
Register for a free ticket so we get a sense of numbers, and come anytime between 5:30 & 8pm. Haere mai, jump into a kēmu and leave when it works for you :)
If you like, bring some kai timotimo (snacks), an inu (drink), a kēmu (game) or something to share - or just come by yourself - ko te kai a te rangatira - he kōrero.
This hui is hosted in the beautiful Oyster Workshop in Parnell, Tāmaki Makaurau, and we are super grateful for their manaakitanga.
