It’s with great pride that Centaur Strength is hosting Kansas City’s Ultimate Strongman: it is our first US Strongman sanctioned meet and it will be held at The Forge Strength Gym in Lees Summit on September 28th, 2024. This meet will be open for both genders with novice, open, and masters classes with the possibility to qualify for next year’s nationals. I’ve worked hard to find unique events that haven’t been proposed in our area with a few classic lifts. This meet will have 5 total events starting at 10am:-the Lever Deadlift;
-Max Yoke/Cambered Bar Overhead Press
-Death by Grip Medley
-Sandbag Throw Over Bar
-Stone Over Bar
Registration will be done through the link on Iron Podium where you will find all the information regarding weigh ins, location, general info, and details on the rules for each event. All weights are posted for each class but are subject to change.
This is going to be a blast and I can’t wait to crown Kansas City’s Ultimate Strongest Man and Woman!
