Join us for a vibrant garden and art walking tour at the beautiful Kauffman Memorial Garden! We’ll explore the scenic Nelson lawn and the inspiring Kemper Contemporary Museum while uncovering the rich art and history of the area. Did you know Thomas Hart Benton taught at the Art Institute for a few years? Lots of history and fun facts. This tour is my favorite combination of being outside with art.Tickets: Adults $38.00 per person. Children and teens $30.00 8-15
Where and when: 4800 Rockhill Rd, Kansas City, MO 64110. Please arrive 15 min before departure time and park at the far back area of the lot.
What to bring: Water bottles.
What to wear: Dress for the weather in comfortable clothes, jackets or rain gear as needed.
Activity level: All walking tours are moderately paced and average 1.5-2 miles walking in total. This one does have 2 steep-ish hills.
Pricing: Tickets are $38 for adults and $30 for children aged 8-15. Tickets are nonrefundable (unless you purchase PEEK protect), or you can transfer tickets to other people as late as the day of.
Other info: Children welcome, there may be some adult content in the art.
