Please Read!
The Kalmar Nyckel Summer Homeschool field trip will be July 6th 2023 from 9:30 - 1:30 with time to eat lunch built in (just be sure to bring lunch and water). The ship will sail from 12 - 1:30, and the land stations are before then. Tickets are $22 per person.
The max number of passengers aboard the ship at once is 49 and there is a minimum requirement of 30 students for field trips. Because of this, I can't offer more than one adult ticket per family unless we end up with excess adult tickets available.
The program is geared towards 3rd to 5th grade students. Kids outside that grade range are welcome, but may not benefit as much from the experience.
The only date left available for the summer is July 6th and I have to submit payment to reserve that date. If for some reason we lose our spot before I have collected everyone's payments, and you have already submitted payment, I will let you know and refund you ASAP.
In the comment section below, add the number of people in your party and their ages. I will comment "approved" until we have reached our passenger limit. Once you are approved, please message me the names and ages of everyone in your party who will be attending and I will give you payment directions. This is necessary for the passenger manifest.
Tickets will be on a first come first serve basis but I can alter the passenger manifest up until July 6th if for some reason you can't come but want to give your tickets to another family.
If you miss out on this trip and really want to ride on the Kalmar Nyckel soon, there are public sails available for all ages out of Wilmington and New Castle DE, Cambridge, MD and Yorktown, VA this summer, and there will be more spots available for educational field trips next school year.
