The kalimba is a beautiful instrument that originates from Africa, often called a thumb piano. Consisting of metal tines mounted on a wooden board, which produce melodic, high-pitched tones when plucked. In this workshop, craft, assemble, and tune your very own kalimba! In this hands-on experience, you’ll bring your instrument to life. Whether you’re a music lover or a DIY enthusiast, discover the joy of creating an instrument that produces beautiful, soothing melodies. Let’s make, play, and enjoy the magic of sound!Saturday, January 10, 10AM-12PM or 1-3PM
