Join us at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth for an event filled with creativity and youth empowerment. The Kaleidoscope of Impact: Reflecting On Our Contribution To Youth Arts Enrichment event will highlight the community works of Maroon 9 Community Enrichment Organization and the Kids Acting With Purpose Youth Development Program. Meet our board members and program staff, and hear from program participants regarding the impact that Maroon 9 & Kids Acting With Purpose have had on their lives. Be the first to view the Kids Acting With Purpose short documentary and connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for nurturing creativity in the next generation. This event will also showcase the video of the "Bone Soup: A Kwanzaa Story" stage production at Jubilee Theatre. Let's come together to celebrate the impact we can make through youth arts enrichment. Maroon 9 Community Enrichment Organization is dedicated to inspiring and empowering underserved teens through the transformative power of theatre arts. We provide free year-round out-of-school-time theatre arts enrichment programs and opportunities to teach creative expression opposed to juvenile crime. Our Kids Acting With Purpose youth development program is focused on providing accessible and high-quality theatre arts enrichment, mentorship, and college/career readiness. We are dedicated to fostering creativity, building self-confidence, expanding cultural awareness, and promoting teamwork in supportive and inclusive environments. Through dynamic productions, educational workshops, and community engagement, we strive to cultivate a generation of confident and expressive individuals who contribute positively to our community and beyond.

2:00pm - 3:00pm: Visit the "Surrealism and Us: Caribbean and African Diasporic Artists Since 1940" Art Exhibit

3:00pm - 4:00pm: Hear about the impact of Maroon 9 Community Enrichment Organization from the Artistic Director, Board Members, and Program Participants.

4:00pm - 5:00pm: Film viewing of the Kids Acting With Purpose short documentary and the production of "Bone Soup: A Kwanzaa Story".
