Science and research confirms creative expression is an important part of our well-being. Join pianist, composer, and improviser Daniel Kelly for an immersive workshop that explores the intersection of music with diverse art forms with a focus on mindfulness and artistic expression. In this interactive session, participants will engage in the creative process by imagining stories, writing poems and making visual art inspired by Daniel's live piano improvisations. Everyone will be invited to share their spontaneous creations in a supportive, open environment. Through guided deep listening, group singing and movement, Daniel will help participants unlock their imagination, explore new ways of engaging with art and experience the nourishing effects of artmaking.
