Kalayaan

Kalayaan is tagalog for Freedom and Liberty. This is a celebration and fundraising event. Funds from this celebration help us achieve our mission. FASCOT gives back to the local community by awarding scholarships to deserving students who are college bound, helping homeless women reintegrate into society, and helping supply items for animals in need.

A participant will be provided cultural entertainment and food. The theme of this year's event is fushion where eastern and western cultures and their influence meet. The fushion will be experienced through various performances and cuisine. We hope one will learn about Filipino culture. While an educational event, this is also a celebration where one can celebrate Filipino freedom through music and dance.
