About this Event

Welcome to the first ever cosplay cafe hosted by BAKA(Banzai Anime Klub of Alberta), the local anime club at the University of Alberta! We have many cosplayers who are helping out to make the cafe possible, and hope to provide a relaxing environment for all fans of Japanese culture. There will be 3 different sessions on the day of the event, all taking up to 90 minutes, so feel free to sign up for any! Reserving your spot on this website will require you to then e-transfer the ticket price of $15 to [email protected]. If you wish to pay any other way please reach out to us through our socials or pay cash in person during our Friday club meetings. Lastly, walk-in options on the day of are also accepted by availability but will not be guranteed. Admission includes food and drink, along with event exclusive merchandise. Feel free to show up in cosplay to match the vibe, but cosplaying is not required. Note that there is a chance the session times may change slightly, but we will confirm these details as soon as possible.
