Join us at the KAHS GSA 7th Annual Broaden Horizons Conference to expand your knowledge and connect with like-minded individuals!
The Kinesiology and Health Science Graduate Student Association will be hosting its 7th annual Broaden Horizons conference, on Friday June 26th 2026, 8:00am-4:00pm. Join us for a day of presentations, keynote career speakers and more! All graduate students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend! Continental breakfast, lunch, coffee and snacks will be provided.
Spaces are limited- Please register ASAP. We can only accommodate 50 people.
If you would like to present your research, please select the ticket type "Presenter (Abstract Submission)" and email your abstract to [email protected]. Research presentations will be in the form of 10-minute talks followed by a 5-minute question period.
Presentation prizes will be awarded to four winners, with two PhD winners and two Master’s winners each receiving a $200 prize. Prizes will be awarded based on abstract submission and presentation. Presentations will be judged by a panel of graduate students (who will not be eligible for the prize) and Principal Investigators. Rubrics will be sent out to all presenters before the conference. If your abstract has been selected for a presentation, you will be contacted via email. Attendees that register for "Presenter (Abstract Submission)" but do not forward a copy of their abstract to [email protected] before the deadline will not be considered and have their submission disqualified. While the primary focus of this conference is on oral presentations, the format is subject to change if there are a high number of registrants.
ABSTRACT FINAL SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Friday, June 19th 2026, 11:59 pm EST.
