From intimate love ballads to raga-inspired passages and gently experimental rhythm, this musical evening unfolds around the original compositions of singer-songwriter and composer Santanu Ghatak. Each song is meticulously placed to unveil a distinct facet of Santanu’s artistry, flowing seamlessly from spare, introspective moments to richly textured, expansive soundscapes. The repertoire blends familiar pieces from films and independent releases, including ‘Rafu’ from Tumhari Sulu, with new works introduced live for the first time. Vocalists Ronkini Gupta and Nihar Shembekar bring their distinct voices to the narrative, while the show design by Anup Satam shapes the visual and sonic journey. They are joined by Snehal Malgundkar, Geet Gupta, Sanchit Mhatre, Adinath Patkar, Ashish Ragwani, and Prasad Satam, forming a finely tuned ensemble.

Conceived as a listening concert rather than a conventional gig, Kahaani centers on storytelling, lyrical precision, and musical integrity. Best experienced in intimate theaters and cultural spaces, it invites audiences to an evening of carefully held emotion and original sound.
