Kaare Krokene, Snøhetta Lecture

To create architecture and design that is truly dramatic, that is truly worth something; we must stop. We must listen the environment around us. ‘Form’ therefore, refers not just to the aesthetic of our designs, but has also become an ethos in how to approach them.

In this lecture, Krokene, will speak through processes of environmental and social sustainability practices adopted by Snøhetta, as well as their unique collaborative approach to analogue and digital design. He will speak through a selection of projects with a particular focus on adaptive re-use, decarbonisation, biomimicry and complex urban implications.
