Londonska techno ikona bo s šeškajočim nastopom, ki mu ne umanjka niti bobnarska palica, v petek 3. oktobra umazala klet in britansko techno izročilo ter krstila novo sezono čvrstejših dogodkov na Kersnikovi, tokrat v režiji K4 in ljubljanske založbe Kri.Oliver prihaja v Ljubljano na krilih nahajpanega dolgometražca Songs of Love and Decay za založbo razvpitega festivala Dekmantel. S prepletom hipnotičnih in subverzivnih vokalov, neizprosnih beatov ter melanholične atmosfere, Broken English Club že deset let vodi trend, ki techno oplaja z lepljivim EBM-om in dobro podmazanim industrialom, skupaj z imeni kot sta Phase Fatale in nedavno preminuli Silent Servant, kateremu je tudi posvetil zadnji album in ki je svoj zadnji remiks podpisal na založbi Kri.
Odmevne izdaje na referenčnih založbah L.I.E.S., Blueprint in Jealous God so B.E.C. že od leta 2014 katapultirale med petične elektronske festivala kot sta berlinski Atonal in amsterdamski Dekmantel. Fotr se je pofočkal tudi na odre Khidija, Berghaina in Fabrica ter nastopal z ultimativnimi legendami ala Nitzer Ebb. Še pred projektom B.E.C. se je Oliver Ho od poznih devetdesetih dalje v zgodovino techna zapisal s svojo kultno založbo Meta, ki je postala poseben techno podžanr, številni hitiči so se vrteli tudi v Ambasadi, izdal pa je celo na Drumcode, ko je bila ta založba še resno ime.
Naravni habitat rejverske umazanije tipa Broken English Club pa je vseeno temačna in intimna klet, kateri bodo v petek 3. oktobra prepoten pečat stisnili še Schrauff, Lavka, Dojaja, Dulash in Lottie.

The London techno icon will stain the basement and the British techno legacy with a raw live performance on Friday, October 3rd, baptizing the new season of harder events on Kersnikova, this time under the direction of K4 and Ljubljana’s Kri Records.
Oliver is coming to Ljubljana on the wings of his steel-forged full-length Songs of Love and Decay for the infamous Dekmantel label. With a blend of hypnotic and subversive vocals, relentless beats and melancholic atmosphere, Broken English Club has been shaping a sound for the past decade that fuses techno with sticky EBM and well-oiled industrial—alongside names like Phase Fatale and the late Silent Servant, to whom the album is dedicated. His punishing live sets don’t shy away from drumsticks either.
Releases on benchmark labels such as L.I.E.S., Blueprint and Jealous God catapulted B.E.C. to prestigious festivals like Berlin Atonal and Amsterdam’s Dekmantel, with appearances at Khidi, Berghain and Fabric, plus sharing stages with ultimate legends like Nitzer Ebb. Even before the B.E.C. project, since the late ’90s Oliver Ho has been inscribed into techno history with his cult label Meta—practically a genre in itself—while also dropping cuts on Drumcode back when it was still a serious name.
But the true habitat of Broken English Club’s rave filth remains the dark and intimate basement—where on Friday, October 3rd, he will be joined by the veteran Ljubljana’s lineup of Schrauff, Lavka, Dojaja, Dulash and Lottie.
