K-12 Art and Music Open Studio

Saturday Open Studio is a relaxed, welcoming creative space for students in kindergarten through 12th grade to explore art, music, and their own ideas. Students can spend the morning working on personal art projects, trying out new materials, experimenting with different media, or exploring instruments and music in a supportive, come as you are environment.
Whether a student wants to paint, draw, sculpt, write a song, play guitar, make something from scratch, or just see where their creativity takes them, Saturday Open Studio gives them the freedom and space to create at their own pace. Eastern Iowa Arts Academy staff and artists are available to offer guidance, encouragement, and ideas, but students are also welcome to follow their own creative path.
Saturday Open Studio is free for EIAA members and just $5 for nonmembers. It takes place every Saturday except holiday weekends, making it a great weekly opportunity for kids and teens to connect, create, try something new, and spend time in a safe and inspiring arts community.
