Kākoʻo Lāhainā Benefit Concert

The Kāko'o Lāhainā Benefit Concert is organized to support Keʻeaumoku Kapu and Nā ‘Aikāne o Maui Lahaina Cultural Center, an initiative that aims to preserve and revitalize Maui's ancient connections that unfortunately have been lost in the recent wildfires of Lāhainā. Nā ‘Aikāne o Maui Lāhainā Cultural Center was a gathering place for his community. The recent wildfires took vestiges (Old documents, maps, genealogy, books that were actually signed by our kings - the cultural center was the hub for a lot of our Native Hawaiian people longing for the past) of ancient Hawai’i before European colonization.

The importance of this effort cannot be overstated. Our cultural heritage is a tapestry woven with stories, traditions, and knowledge passed down through generations. Keʻeaumoku Kapu's tireless work to reconnect us with our roots is a beacon of hope for the future. The Kāko'o Lāhainā Benefit Concert serves as a rallying point for our community to come together, celebrate our rich heritage, and ensure its preservation for future generations.

100% of the evening's proceeds will go directly to Ke'eaumoku Kapu and his 501(c)3 in hopes of aide in their needs during these trying times.
