Old friends, great songs, killer playing, and Sweet Sunday Vibes - join us for Jeff Younger & The Sensitive Gentlemen with Joseph Martin - Live @ The Heatley!!Guitarist and singer Jeff Younger has a deep love of beautiful melodies, touching lyrics and quirky, creative imagery. Best known as a fearless improviser, composer, and sonic madman, in singer-songwriter mode Jeff sings original tunes about the beautifully flawed, near misses and small victories, evil clowns, small dogs, Winnipeg, getting wasted, and of course, broken hearts. Featuring local stalwarts Ron Samworth on guitar, Bill Briscall on bass, and Max Ley on drums, the band lays down deeply grooving, sweetly spirited, and ass-kicking versions of Jeff's original tunes and a couple of choice covers when the spirit takes them.
Joseph Martin is a local songwriter and guitar player who pulls his songwriting influence from Mark Lanegan, Jeff Tweedy and Craig Finn. He has been the long time guitarist and writer with the indie rock band Bend Sinister.
