Join the Arkansas Fly Fishers for our monthly meeting, as we welcome professional guide Justin Spencer of Eleven Point Fly Fishing for a dive into one of the most beautiful rivers in the Missouri Ozarks: the Eleven Point River.Justin has been guiding the Eleven Point since 2010 and is passionate about helping anglers fall in love with all his river has to offer.
The Eleven Point River flows primarily through U.S. Forest Service land and remains largely undeveloped. Instead of cabins and resorts, you’ll see forest, high bluffs, springs, wildlife—and, with a little luck, plenty of fish. The river holds some of the prettiest rainbow trout in the Ozarks and includes roughly 20 miles of trout water, including a 5.5‑mile trophy (blue ribbon) section. It also offers smallmouth fans, an excellent smallie fishery.
Justin will cover his tactics for both trout and smallmouth, what makes the Eleven Point unique compared to other Ozark waters, and how to plan a trip to this river.
The meeting is at 6 PM, at the Whole Hog Cafe, 2516 Cantrell Rd, Little Rock. Members, visitors, and guests welcome!
