Join award-winning CBC journalist Justin McElroy in conversation with Jason D’Souza as they discuss McElroy’s debut book, Searching for the Best Place on Earth: 52 Countries in 52 Weeks.
After a lifetime spent in BC and never travelling beyond North America, McElroy took a year off to visit 52 countries in 52 weeks, exploring nearly every city described as “world-class” and asking how Vancouver and BC truly compare. With his signature wit and sharp observations, McElroy ranks everything from museums and cuisines to national train systems, offering a fresh perspective on what makes a place exceptional, and how to explore the world on a budget.
