Join us for a rare opportunity to experience Across the River Loir, Vol. III, a deeply personal new exhibition by Newcastle artist Justin Lees.
This one-week-only show continues Lees’ exploration of memory, place, and quiet moments, shaped by his residency at Château Bothenvillers in the French countryside. Drawing on impressions from days spent by the River Loir and travels through Bonneval, Blois, and Chambord, these paintings reflect both the stillness of rural France and the intimate experience of making art far from home.
The exhibition brings together works from his previous two series alongside fresh paintings created after his residency — a poetic journey through landscapes felt as much as seen.
