Welcome to the Justice Ambassadors Youth Council Graduation! 🎓 Join us at The Forum at Columbia University on December 9, 2025 at 6:00 PM to celebrate the incredible achievements of our youth leaders. Get ready for an evening filled with inspiring speeches, policy proposals developed by youth and city government members and opportunities to connect with leaders pushing for system impacted change! More on The Justice Ambassador Youth Council (JAYC)

12-week social action and life skills building seminar bringing together government officials and 18-25 year-olds – many of whom are legal system impacted or gang involved – and come from New York City’s most under-served neighborhoods to create policy and learn to have a seat at the table of change.

The Justice Ambassadors 3 core Stages of Change:

1) Personal - members are introduced to critical life skills for healthy decision-making and encouraged to adopt new ways of achieving justice.

2) Community - youth conduct group presentations at NYC government offices.

3) Social - youth and city officials develop co-authored policy proposals that seek to address societal challenges like gun violence, homelessness and so on.
