Pacific Northwest Black Pride launches a new program for Black Lesbians/Queer Women called Sisters Together for Empowerment Program (STEP)!

The Program centers, identifies, and addresses the needs, interests, and concerns of Black Lesbians in the Seattle area.

STEP builds upon the legacy of Sista2Sista (S2S), an initiative born more than 30 years ago under POCAAN (People of Color Against AIDS Network). STEP honors this lineage while modernizing its scope to meet contemporary needs through:

• Educational and informational workshops
• Social events and activities
• Resource sharing
• Safe and affirming support
