MASFAA's Just the FACTS! Training Series is designed to meet the needs of new financial aid professionals with less than two years of experience.
The training is intended to be comprehensive and it is expected that participants will attend all three sessions of the training. Training will be offered at Bentley University and all sessions will run from 9:00am to 3:00pm with a break for lunch (lunch is not provided).
Session dates and topics are as follows:
Monday, September 30, 2024: Financial Aid Panel, Application Process & Cost of Attendance, Student Eligibility
Monday, October 7, 2024: Need Analysis, Packaging & Aid Notification, Direct Loans
Tuesday, October 15, 2024: Pell Grant, Professional Judgement, Satisfactory Academic Progress
