Just Play | An Intentional Social Event for Bay Area Singles in Their 30s
About this Event
You're tired of swiping. You're tired of small talk that goes nowhere. You're not looking for chaos — you're looking for genuine connection.
Just Play is a curated singles event series happening in San Francisco, built for intentional folks in their 30s who want to meet someone in real life — without the noise, the pressure, or the bar environment. This is a social event in the connection and wellness space, closer to a guided experience than a mixer, slow dating movement.
Come as you are, take what you like, and leave what you don't.
What is it?
A 2.5-hour Saturday evening for singles in their 30s, hosted in San Francisco's Portola District. We use board games as the bridge — one of the quickest way to feel comfortable around strangers is to be curious, and one way to be curious is to play with them. Each table is paired with conversation prompts drawn from the work of Esther Perel, Adam Grant, and Brené Brown, designed to move you past "what should I say...," to "I'd like to say..." This is intentional dating. This is mindful connection. This is real.
What this isn't
Not speed dating. Not a bar night. Not an app. Not a performative space.
Event agenda will be emailed to participants after ticket purchase.
