Just Dance is delighted to welcome the incredibly talented, Abhi Maisekar!
Abhi is a music producer and DJ currently based in Vancouver, originally from Hyderabad, India. Rooted in downtempo and ecstatic house music, his sound blends organic rhythms, soulful grooves, spirituality, and cultural influences into immersive musical journeys. He has releases on several international labels, including Kośa, Shango, Tibetania, and Eretna. Inspired by nature, human emotion, and inner peace, Abhi creates music that connects souls, moves bodies, and invites listeners to be fully present in the moment.
For the second half of the evening, JD co-resident, Raghunath Khe, brings a sophisticated and vibrant mix of earth-rooted rhythms, delectable basslines, and gorgeous timbres gracefully fused with the futuristic. An intricate sonic offering creating space for a wide range of movement and expression, and providing ample opportunity for pure dance intensity, reflection, and blissful release.

Abhi Maisekar is a music producer and DJ based in Vancouver, BC, originally from Hyderabad, India. Rooted in downtempo and ecstatic house music, his sound blends organic rhythms, soulful grooves, spirituality, and cultural influences into immersive musical journeys. He has releases on several international labels, including Kośa, Shango, Tibetania, and Eretna. Inspired by nature, human emotion, and inner peace, Abhi creates music that connects souls, moves bodies, and invites listeners to be fully present in the moment. He signs almost everything with the same Konkani phrase: mog asun — let there be love.

Raghunath Khe has been an intrinsic part of the evolving conscious dance culture for more than 25 years. An innovative composer, producer, and dj, they are interested in the transformative and transcendent properties of music, movement, bhajan, and community. They have previously released four albums, earlier ones under the moniker Haitchc, and have composed multiple original film scores. Raghunath is a formal brahmana initiate within the brahma-madhva-gaudiya sampradaya (lineage) who is committed to practice, having spent several uninterrupted years in their youth as a brahmachari monk serving in temples both in Canada and India. Regularly performing, teaching, and orchestrating events, they are affiliated with the Waxing Moon collective, Intention Gathering, and are a co-resident dj and organizer at Vancouver's long-running Just Dance night. In addition, Raghunath contributes musically and otherwise to various festivals and gatherings locally and internationally. A long-time radio presence, they are currently the host and producer of Mantra Radio on CiTR 101.9fm in Vancouver.

Just Dance is a positive party community event. It offers a unique opportunity to dance to an eclectic selection of music from around the world. Held every two weeks, Just Dance can be described as a refreshing alternative to the bar and club scene. It is a place where you are free to be yourself, connect with a vibrant community and dance the way you want!.
Just Dance is also a non-profit organization and has donated thousands of dollars to local charities over the last 32 years.
