Just Dads Presents: The Craft, Cup & Conversation

Each night pairs a hands-on craft at Makers Social with a curated pour from Watershed Distillery, a full dinner, and an immersive listening experience with a featured artist. Every dad leaves with a Just Dads Journal — 365 prompts to write his way from the boy he was into the father he's still becoming — and something he built to keep inside it.

August 31, 2026 — Opening Night with Tres Carter. Guests build a custom leather or metal bookmark sized to live inside the journal, paired with Watershed Distillery's cocktail-building session or a curated whiskey and bourbon tasting. Tres Carter closes the night live — an intimate first session built around presence, fatherhood, and the stories men rarely tell out loud.

October 26, 2026 — Featuring Taelor Gray. Acclaimed recording artist and spoken word poet Taelor Gray brings the series' second night, with music sitting at the intersection of faith, identity, and humanity.

February 8, 2027 — Couples Edition. The series closes with Tres Carter and Brent Sigley, joined by their wives, Dionna Carter (poet) and Kelliea Sigley, for a Valentine's season night centered on partnership and honest conversation.

Just Dads is a Columbus-based nonprofit equipping fathers with tools for emotional regulation, breaking the isolation many men carry, and building community around fatherhood. Proceeds from each session support the ongoing work of Just Dads, Makers Social, and The Room.
