Following Fridays Wild Women gathering and our ritual of protection with Rowan, this next circle is inspired by the theme ‘Just As You Are’ — a gentle invitation into self-acceptance, softness, and remembering that you can come just as you are. Tired. Bright. Quiet. Full. There is nothing you need to bring but yourself. And we’ll sing Just As You Are — not as a performance, but as a remembering.
In the Celtic tree calendar, this time of year is held by Ash — known as The World Tree and The Enchanter. A tree of deep wisdom, connection and inner knowing. Ash stands between worlds, linking roots in the underworld, trunk in the middle world, and branches reaching the heavens. She reminds us that we already carry everything we need inside us. A perfect guide as we move from winter’s deep rest into the active, creative energy of early spring.
We’ll honour Ash with a gentle ritual called the Ash Remembering Stick of Acceptance — a simple, powerful practice of writing what is true about ourselves when doubt is loud, and binding it onto a stick with ribbon and beads. A talisman to take home, to hold in moments of overwhelm, and to remind you who you are when you forget.
As the land begins to wake, we’ll also be welcoming our first wild spring allies:
🌱 Nettle, Cleavers, Wild Garlic & Gorse
We’ll share:
• Nourishing wild garlic & nettle soup
• Fresh wild garlic bread
• Cleansing herbal tea of nettle & cleavers
• Wild gorse syrup cake — bringing in Gorse’s golden “fire in the belly”, a symbol of energy, renewal and joy
All Wild Women will be gifted with my cucumber, mint and cleavers facial tonic — connecting to Ash’s water energy, for gentle cleansing, glow and renewal.
We’ll sing together.
We’ll sit by the fire.
We’ll make, share, eat, breathe and soften.
By the fireside 🔥
With love, soup, song and wild green medicine 🌿
