Juntos Latin Alumni Global Spanish Event

Join us for an inspiring event celebrating Global Spanish , presented in collaboration with UVA Lifetime Learning. Global Spanish is a dynamic platform that supports groundbreaking research, creative work, and community building across Spanish-speaking cultures worldwide. We will showcase some of the innovative research and creative work being done by esteemed faculty in various departments across Grounds. Shannon, Professor of Art History; Fernando Valverde, Associate Professor of Spanish & Poetry; Paulina Ochoa, John L. Nau III Professor of the History and Principles of Democracy; Allison Bigelow, Associate Professor of Spanish; Ricardo Padron (Col ’89), Professor of Spanish; Jenn Bair, Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor of Sociology and Federico Cuatlacuatl, Professor of Art and UVA 2024 Excellence in Arts & Humanities award, for your contributions! A reception with coffee house style refreshments, and music by Berto and Vincent will take place immediately after the session.
