About this Event
Junk Journaling for Expats: The Meaning of Home
Ready to dive into a creative adventure? Join us in person for Junk Journaling designed especially for expats. Explore what home means to you by crafting pages filled with personal memories, ephemera, and stories. It’s all about expressing your unique journey and making something beautiful from everyday moments. Hosted by Anushka, a passionate scrapbooker who has led over 10 junk journaling workshops in the Netherlands, this is a space to meet new people, share the unique challenges of expat life, and enjoy 3 hours of therapeutic crafting.
🗓️ The Agenda
First 30 Mins: Settling in, introductions (where are we from and what does home mean to us?), and inspiration! Anushka will share examples of her own work to spark your creativity. Reflection prompts will be on the table to help guide your vision.
Next 2 Hours: Get into the flow state! Experiment with magazines, textured papers, and stickers to craft a meaningful journal spread.
Last 30 Mins: Wrapping up, sharing our creations (if you want to!), and connecting with new friends.
🎟️ Your ticket includes:
All crafting materials: Textured papers, gluesticks, scissors, double sided tape, washi tapes, stamps and stickers to create your beautiful journal spread.
☕ A non-alcoholic beverage of your choice to sip on while you get into your creative flow!
