Looking for a fun and creative night out in Manchester, NH? Join Dash of Creativity at Stark Brewing Company for a relaxing evening of junk journaling, scrapbooking, and creative collage! Whether you enjoy paper crafts, want to explore a new hobby, or simply need some creative time, this beginner-friendly workshop is a chance to unwind, socialize, and make something personal.
Junk journaling doesn't have to be complicated! Start with a basic journal and make it your own using decorative papers, magazine clippings, stickers, colorful scraps, and personal touches. Some pages might be simple, while others might feature layers of patterns, textures, and embellishments. There are no rules, and every journal can be completely different!
The world is stressful enough, so this workshop is designed to be fun, relaxed, and pressure-free. No artistic experience, fancy supplies, or beautiful handwriting required!
What Is Junk Journaling?
Junk journaling combines traditional journaling, scrapbooking, collage, and mixed-media art. It's a creative way to turn everyday materials into pages that reflect your personality, interests, and memories. You can collect favorite quotes, preserve special moments, experiment with colors, or simply enjoy making something with your hands.
You don't need expensive supplies or complicated techniques. A basic notebook, a few scraps of paper, and some creativity are enough to get started. Best of all, you can continue adding to your journal long after the workshop ends.
What to Expect
During this hands-on craft night, Dash of Creativity will provide decorative papers, collage materials, stickers, embellishments, basic crafting tools, and beginner-friendly guidance. You'll experiment with arranging, layering, and decorating journal pages while exploring different colors and creative combinations.
This isn't a formal art class where everyone follows the same design. You'll work at your own pace, choose your favorite materials, and decide how simple or detailed you'd like your project to be.
Bring a Friend or Come Solo!
Looking for a different kind of girls' night out, mother-daughter activity, date night, or creative evening with friends? Junk journaling is a fun way to spend time together while making something unique. Coming alone is just as welcome! Enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere while discovering a creative hobby.
You're also welcome to bring copies of photographs, postcards, ticket stubs, or other flat paper keepsakes to personalize your journal.
Important Information & Workshop Limitations
This is a beginner-friendly recreational workshop, not an advanced scrapbooking or bookbinding course. Materials, colors, patterns, and embellishments will vary based on availability, and some supplies may be shared. Specific designs cannot be guaranteed.
Participants work at their own pace, so the number of completed pages will vary. A fully decorated or completed journal is not guaranteed. The focus is on learning simple techniques and enjoying the creative process. Please avoid bringing irreplaceable personal items, as materials may be cut or glued.
Food and beverages are available for purchase separately from Stark Brewing Company. Venue policies and applicable age restrictions apply.
