Saddle Up for Fun at the First-Ever Junior Rodeo!Howdy, young cowboys and cowgirls! Get ready to lasso some excitement at the inaugural Junior Rodeo, happening on Sunday, June 9th at the Salinas Sports Complex in Salinas, CA. Brought to you by MYCars.com and hosted by the California Rodeo Salinas, this event is all about celebrating our Western heritage and nurturing the next generation of rodeo stars.

Ages* 3 and under: Stick Horse Race**, Boot Race, Goat Tail Untying
Ages 4-5: Stick Horse Race, Boot Race, Goat Tail Untying
Ages 9 and under: Calf Riding, Barrel Race, Pole Bending, Goat Tail Untying, Single Stake
Ages 10-13 (Girls): Barrel Race, Pole Bending, Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping, Team Roping
Ages 10-13 (Boys): Steer Riding, Chute Dogging, Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping, Team Roping
Ages 14-18 (Girls): Barrel Race, Pole Bending, Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping, Team Roping
Ages 14-18 (Boys): Wild Beef Ride, Chute Dogging, Tie Down Roping, Team Roping

Registration and Prizes:
Entries will be accepted online from May 1st to May 31st, with entry fees ranging from $10 to $35. Prizes include coveted buckles for 1st place winners in each event, so saddle up and show us what you've got!
Admission and Parking:
Admission is free for all attendees, so bring your friends and family for a day of rip-roaring fun! Parking information for contestants is available here to help you plan your day.
