Howdy Wekiwa Springs State Park Junior Rangers and their awesome families!We will be having our Junior Ranger Club meeting from 4:30-6pm on Thursday, October 6th at Wekiwa Springs State Park. You are welcome to come in before the program to enjoy the park just let them know at the front gate that you are here with the Junior Ranger Club.
Our topic will be Prescribed Fire!! We are excited to show you our engine and the tools we use.After the first hour of the program we will do our community clean-up for a 1/2 hour. If you plan to help protect our resources and pick up litter with us, tell the ranger at the ranger station that you are here to volunteer with the Junior Ranger Club and you will be granted free entry. If you don’t have time to participate this time, no worries, the fee to park is $6.
We will be meeting at the regular pavilion (Sink Hole Pavilion) at the end of the Spring parking lot. We will have a meeting rain or shine, so come on down and enjoy our beautiful park!
Please bring your stamp books or completed packets to receive your next pin or patch. If your don’t have a Junior Ranger Packet yet, we will provide that to you. (FREE)
Please let me know if you plan to attend.
All children MUST be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the program.
