Join Park Naturalist Hulya Onel at this workshop to learn all Ecology which covers ecosystems, food-webs, biomes, communities vs populations, niche vs habitat and more. This is one of six workshops to to complete in order to become a Certified Junior Naturalist! We study a different biology subject every other month throughout the year. Once you complete all six workshops, you will be eligible to join Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park Junior Naturalists Club! The mission of the Junior Naturalist Program is to foster an understanding and appreciation of Northwest Louisiana's plants, water, soils, and wildlife, and to promote good stewardship. This program will be ongoing, and classes can be made up when they are offered again. This workshop is for ages 7 to 12. Parents/older siblings are welcome to sit with the children.
Registration is required. For registration and additional information, call us at (318) 929-2806.
