Celebrate with us! On October 2nd, from 2-4pm, we will be commemorating the 2nd annual Junior League of San Angelo Day and proudly unveiling the new Story Walk at Kirby Park! ? This fun, ✨free party will feature crafts and games to participate in, a healthy snack demonstration from our League’s Kid’s in the Kitchen committee, and goodies to take home and enjoy!
Before you leave, make sure to take a walk through the park to enjoy the brand new Story Walk! The first book the story walk will feature is, “Nobody Hugs a Cactus,” by Carter Goodrich, a sweet tale about a prickly little cactus who learns the power of positive change and importance of friendship.
In 2021, Mayor Brenda Gunter signed a decree designating October 2nd as Junior League of San Angelo day. We’re so happy to get together again and share the new Story Walk on this momentous occasion. We hope to see you and your family there! ♥️
