The Junior League of New Orleans is excited to host its 2023 Women’s Leadership Summit presented by Ochsner Baptist on Friday, January 20 at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel. This one-day in-person experience features content tailored towards pairing women's personal and professional growth with their desire to make an impact in the communities they serve. Participants will engage in interactive breakout sessions and hear empowering messages from a diverse lineup of inspiring speakers.This event will focus on three areas— professional development, personal growth, and community engagement — with all sessions reflective of JLNO’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
We're thrilled to announce our 2023 Keynote speaker will be Karen Swensen. Karen is an award-winning journalist and founder of Life’s About Change, a business aimed at helping others navigate life’s challenges. She currently contributes a monthly “Changing Chapters” segment on the Today Show with Hoda and Jenna. Her resume includes more than ten Emmys and six Edward R. Murrow regional awards, along with numerous Gracie, Gabriel, Associated Press, and Press Club awards for investigative journalism, writing, and feature reporting.
