Do you have a preteen or teen interested in law enforcement, forensic science, medicine or anthropology?
Through a hands-on activity, students learn to “read” the features of a human skull to determine: age, sex, physical trauma and/or illness! During the event, your team must determine what happened (type of trauma) and if it was an accident or murder. Recommended grade levels: 6th & up!
Select your Mystery Case: # 803, #196, #185, -OR- #152!
Junior Forensics is an introduction to forensic science in a class setting, but parental discretion is still advised. This event involves replica human skulls cast from real trauma cases. Please call us, if you have questions about content. All students must have one adult chaperone present throughout the class who will also require a ticket.
If you do not purchase up to 6 tickets (1 table) you will be seated with other students/parents to solve a case together. If you wish to attend with another family, please purchase tickets for the same case number.
Event Tickets Include:
- 90 Minute Forensics Activity
- All Day Museum Admission
- Free Scavenger Hunts
- Informal Q&A with Museum Educators
