Junior Firefighter Day

The Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Services is partnering with Frederick County Parks and Recreation to offer Junior Firefighter Academy. This program will provide participants with a close-up look at what is means to be a firefighter here in Frederick County. Throughout the day, attendees will go through a variety of hands-on activity stations including, home escape planning, physical fitness training, dressing in turn out gear, touch a truck opportunities, and much more. Participants should be prepared to be outdoors the whole time. Program will take place at Public Safety Training Facility.
