The Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Services is partnering with Frederick County Parks and Recreation to offer Junior Firefighter Academy. This program will provide participants with a close-up look at what is means to be a firefighter here in Frederick County. Throughout the day, attendees will go through a variety of hands-on activity stations including, home escape planning, physical fitness training, dressing in turn out gear, touch a truck opportunities, and much more. Participants should be prepared to be outdoors the whole time. Program will take place at Public Safety Training Facility.Ages 6 - 11
