Join a fun-filled evening illuminated by June’s full moon, or the “Strawberry Moon”, to kayak on a peaceful cove of Lake Lanier and bask in Luna’s light overnight on one of Lake Lanier’s islands. Before we launch, bring some food to grill and relax during the sunset.Launch Time: 9:00 PM
Location: Young Deer Creek Park, Cumming, GA
Kayak: You will need to bring your own, but as well be on the water at night, you need to make sure you have lighting at the front and end of your boat. I also encourage you to illuminate the interior! Here’s a link to purchase: https://a.co/d/gPuNjhv
Safety: You must bring a life jacket.
Overnight Accommodations: Bring a hammock to throw up, Shady Grove Campground, or hotels in either Cumming, GA or Dawsonville, GA.
