Join the Pan African Cultural Community for the Juneteenth Youth Freedom Fest 2026, a fun-filled day of education, culture, creativity, and community designed especially for children, youth, and families.
Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when enslaved African in Texas finally learned of their freedom—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Today, Juneteenth stands as a celebration of freedom, resilience, achievement, and hope for future generations.
At the Juneteenth Youth Freedom Fest, young people will explore the history and meaning of Juneteenth through interactive activities, storytelling, music, art, literacy, games, and cultural experiences.
