Juneteenth with the African American Heritage Museum of Southern New Jersey

All are welcome to attend the second-annual Juneteenth celebration organized by the African American Heritage Museum of Southern New Jersey at the Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University. This year’s event will feature two full days of guest speakers, performances, pop-up exhibitions, and shopping from local arts vendors and black-owned businesses.
Schedule of events for Friday, June 19:
12:00 to 1:00 p.m.: Music by Tony Day Trio
1:00 to 3:00 p.m.: Speaking program
- Introduction by AAHMSNJ volunteer Casey Bell
- Opening remarks by Brian Jackson, Master of Ceremonies
- Keynote speaker: Yolanda Melville,
- Prayer by Dr. Thelma Witherspoon
- Guest speaker Kaleem Shabazz
- Storytelling by Michelle Washington Wilson
3:00 to 5:00 p.m.: Speaking program ends, music interlude from Tony Day Trio
In addition to the scheduled programming, attendees can enjoy:
* Continuous shopping from vendors from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.
