This June, The House of Afros, Capes & Curls' is back with the SteamPunk Tea Party! Get ready to immerse yourself in a celebration of Black excellence.

SteamPunk Tea Party is back again for 2026 and the theme is “Timekeepers of Timbuktu.”

The 2026 theme pays tribute to the legendary city of scholars and inventors, envisioning a world where African innovation shapes the engines of time itself.

This year’s experience expands into a full-weekend interactive narrative journey, blending story, performance, and history in a choose-your-own-adventure format. Participants become Keepers of Time, unlocking hidden moments and storylines throughout each event.

Elevate your weekend plans with an immersive journey into the past and future. We have the FREE Juneteenth Vintage Night Market on June 12th, chock-full of vendors, delectable foods, and our Cosplay Creation Station with a Clothing Swap. Bring your lightly used, freshly laundered clothes that you think would complete a fellow cosplayers Victorian or Western ensemble.

Then strut your fabulous fit at our Juneteenth SteamPunk Grand Ball on June 14th. There will be M**der Mysteries, Special Guest Luncheons, traveling artists, and thematic musical accompaniments. Don't miss your chance to be a part of something extraordinary—reserve your spot today!
