**6:00 PM - 6:30 PM: Support Black Business**
As the doors open, we encourage attendees to explore and shop from a variety of Black-owned businesses. This segment underscores the importance of economic empowerment and aims to support and uplift entrepreneurs within the community. Come early, connect, and contribute to a thriving Black economy.
**6:30 PM - 7:30 PM: 165 Years Later: The State of Black America - Mind, Body, & Soul**
Dive into a thought-provoking panel discussion featuring Renee O'Connor, an esteemed educator and instructional designer, and Nerissa Street, an award-winning teacher, digital storyteller, and corporate trainer. The panel will reflect on the journey since Emancipation, examining the historical context, current challenges, and envisioning future pathways for the Black community's mental, physical, and spiritual health.
**7:30 PM - 9:00 PM: Juneteenth for Joy: A Healing Experience**
In this dynamic and interactive workshop led by Nerissa Street, participants will engage in activities designed to promote a joyful and healthy life. This session, held in collaboration with the L.A. LEE YMCA, will highlight the YMCA's role as a safe and supportive space for the community. Attendees will learn to harness resources that foster mental and physical well-being, leaving empowered and ready to embrace prosperity.
