As we walk to the Johnston Family and Enslaved Gravesite, we'll take a moment to speak their names aloud, honoring their lives and acknowledging their enduring impact on our community. This ceremony serves as a reminder of the resilience and strength of those who came before us, while also fostering a sense of unity and solidarity among present-day advocates for justice and equality. Following the ceremony, we'll come together to share historical African drinks. Join us as we commemorate healing and reconciliation.
