This Juneteenth Celebration Picnic will come alive with jazz, movement, and style rooted in tradition to honor the men and women who created joy in the face of hardship. This is the celebration of freedom, memory, and the rhythms that carried us forward.

Mission: We aim to bring awareness of all facets of the celebration of Juneteenth and the resilience of the Black community through the years that followed. We intend to put on a celebration and a display of what has come following the end of slavery. Including how we move our bodies, the music that we have created since then, as well as what we wore and continue to wear while overcoming the adversity that comes with being a minority in America.
