Juneteenth Honoring the Freedom Riders
Join us at Bethany Baptist Church as we celebrate Juneteenth by honoring the brave individuals known as the Freedom Riders. These courageous activists played a pivotal role in the Civil Rights Movement by challenging segregation on public transportation in the 1960s. This in-person event will feature the youngest freedom, Mr. Hezekiah Watkins! Panalist also includes Lawrence Hamm a social justice activist. Continental Breakfast and Lunch will be provided. Let's come together to commemorate their legacy and continue the fight for equality.
